Description of the pledged property
The pledged property is located in the municipality of Jurbarkas d., Viešvilė, Mokyklos st. 1B, LT-74233, Lithuania.
Jurbarkas district municipality is located in the south-western part of the Republic of Lithuania, stretching for more than 70 kilometres along the Nemunas River, the largest river in Lithuania. The municipality has two cities - Jurbarkas and Smalininkai, 7 towns (Eržvilkas, Raudonė, Seredžius, Šimkaičiai, Vadžgirys, Veliuona, Viešvilė) and 355 villages. The municipality is divided into 12 elderships. Jurbarkas District Municipality is bordered to the east by Kaunas District, to the north-east by Raseiniai District, to the north-west by Tauragė District, to the west by Pagėgiai Municipality, shares a common border with Šakiai District on the Nemunas River, and to the south-west by Krasnosomenskoye District of Kaliningrad Oblast, Russian Federation.
Jurbarkas District Municipality's administrative centre is the town of Jurbarkas, located on the Kaunas-Klaipėda road. Jurbarkas is one of the few towns on the Nemunas with its own marina. Jurbarkas is 190 km from Vilnius, 90 km from Kaunas, 140 km from Klaipėda, 130 km from the Polish border, and 12 km from Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia.
Viešvilė is a town in Jurbarkas District Municipality, 24 km west of Jurbarkas, on the 141st road Kaunas-Jurbarkas-Šilutė-Klaipėda, on the right bank of the Nemunas River, on both sides of the Viešvilė stream. There is a church of the Transfiguration of Christ in Viešvilė, a primary school, a library, a cultural centre of the Jurbarkas region of Lithuania Minor, and a post office. The largest building in Viešvilė is the Court House, built in 1902, where the Viešvilė Children's Home was established in 1956.
The mortgaged object is located in the northern part of Viešvilė, in the block bounded by Klaipėdos, Mokyklos, Upelio streets and the town park. The town park, Viešvilė I pond and the Viešvilė stream are located about 100 m away. The immediate vicinity of the property is dominated by residential properties - old-built apartment buildings and, a little further away, individual residential houses. About 70 m away is the busy Klaipėdos Street - part of the Panemunės road section. The social infrastructure of the area is partially developed. There are shops, a post office and a school nearby. Fully developed social infrastructure can be found in Jurbarkas (25 km) or Tauragė (29 km). The mortgaged property is part of the complex of the former Viešvilė Agricultural School. Several buildings of this complex are located nearby: educational buildings, boiler house, pumping station, etc. One of the former educational buildings houses a beauty centre.
